CPFA Services and Membership Benefitsa

County Playing Field Associations (CPFAs) are the only organisations in the country dedicated specifically to providing the practical information and advice, inspiration and "moral support" needed by local volunteer recreation space managers including parish and town councils, playing field management committees, community playground committees and sports clubs.

The practical help they can provide for local groups includes:

  • site visits to give on the spot advice
  • newsletters and information sheets or targeted information on a range of relevant topics including other sources of help
  • provision of small grants and loans (if they have a suitable fund) and/or advice on how to access sources of funding
  • expert and up-to-date guidance on safety standards for children's paly areas
  • seminars and meetings to provide information, training and a chance to meet other playing field managers
  • identifying playing field needs and helping to protect those under threat

Please support us by becoming a member of your CPFA and help your local community to stay active through the support and protection of areas used by communities for sport, play and recreation.

Please contact your local CPFA for details of their own particular services and membership rates.
